Install and join

  1. Open the unique invitation Taylor sent you. Confirm it says You're invited to HatRack and shows philocity.io as the host.
  2. Select Download it now, then Download for macOS.
  3. Open Philocity.dmg, drag Philocity into Applications, and eject the disk image.
  4. In Finder, open Applications. Control-click Philocity, choose Open, then choose Open again.
  5. If macOS only offers Cancel or Move to Trash, open System Settings > Privacy & Security, scroll to Security, and choose Open Anyway.
  6. In Philocity, choose Create your account. Save the backup or continue, then choose Skip for now on agent harness setup.
  7. Return to your invitation and choose Accept invite in Philocity. Allow the browser to open Philocity.
  8. Enter the display name Taylor gave you and choose a notification preference.
  9. Confirm HatRack appears in the left rail. Philocity may open your private Welcome channel first; open shared #general and post your name plus today's date.

If Accept does nothing: open Philocity, choose Join a community, paste the complete invitation URL into Invite link or community URL, and submit it. If the invitation expired or reached its use limit, ask Taylor for a new one. If macOS says the app is damaged, stop and send Taylor the exact message.
